Military Chaplaincy
As a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Trey felt the call to go back into a combat zone with John 3:16 instead of an M16.  Pray for us, and stay tuned for more updates.  As a Chaplain I will preach Christ, and His Gospel in chapel services, pray with and counsel Soldiers, and serve as a spiritual and religious adviser to the commander.

Trey has recently been assigned as the Rear Detachment Chaplain for the 219th BfSB, a Brigade that is currently deployed to Iraq.  He is also serving as one of four full time Chaplains for the State of Indiana's Army National Guard.  This ministry is primarily counseling with Soldiers, but also involves casualty or death notifications, and officiating at Memorial Services for fallen Soldiers.  Please keep the deployed unit in your prayers, and also pray for open hearts among Soldiers and family members.  Below is a copy of the most recent newsletter for the deployed unit.
 
We would also like for you to remember some of our Holiness young men who are currently serving.  Chaplain Aric Foster is currently preparing to go to Afghanistan, Cody Carr from West Virginia is serving as a Marine in Afghanistan.  Joe Dissmore has recently graduated basic training, and is anticipating a deployment to Afghanistan as well.  Kris Butler is also serving in the Air Force in South Carolina.  Please pray for their protection, and that God would use them.
