In Defense of Military Chaplaincy

Answering some common arguments against Military Chaplaincy with the facts

This is not an exhaustive list of objections to Military Chaplaincy.  I’m really only barely touching on the subject, but I hope this may help someone who may be considering becoming a chaplain, or quiet someone who may be a longtime critic of those who put on a uniform to provide Spiritual freedom to those who are willing to put their lives on the line for our physical freedom....

Prayer Breakfast

Posted by Arthur Dickerson on Friday, February 24, 2012,
Today I had the opportunity to organize a prayer breakfast for the unit that I'm working for.  Soldiers who work at the Armory come by for food, fellowship, a message and prayer.  This month our guest speaker was Rev. My packet (a file folder with a bunch of paperwork) has already been sent to the Chaplain's Assessions Board.  This board will decide whether they are going to allow me to become a chaplain in the Military.  It will be followed by a Federal Recognition Board in Austin, Texas this July, where I will be made an official chaplain.  Please pray that everything goes smoothly with both of these boards.  I will be starting with my new unit the first weekend of June and will finally be functioning as...
